Teaching Awards and Honors
In June 2019, I received the Award for Excellence in Teaching by a Postdoctoral or Visiting Faculty Member. This award is given to one or two temporary faculty members by the Northwestern Math Department every year.
In May 2013, I received the 2012-2013 Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award. This award recognizes approximately 30 teaching assistants each year who demonstrate excellence in the classroom at the University of Iowa.
At the end of each semester, the University of Iowa invites students to write letters of appreciation to instructors through the "Thank-A-Teacher" program. I received "Thank-A-Teacher" letters in 2011, 2014, and 2016.

Student Evaluations
I put significant time and effort into implementing interactive teaching strategies, building rapport with my students, and being available outside of class. My student evaluations are generally very positive. Click a link below to see the evaluations for that class. All evaluations are unaltered and complete, unless otherwise indicated. Since Spring 2020, I have solicited anonymous written feedback from my students in addition to the official FSU numerical course evaluations (which were not administered in Spring and Fall 2020 due to the pandemic).
